Volvo is one of the leading car manufacturers in the world. Italy Volvo unveiled their two eco-friendly vehicles at the Bologna Motor Show. The event that brought together more than 850 thousand people in Bologna in December 2011 and has offered new products, road tests, competitions and events for motoring enthusiasts.
Volvo wanted to characterize their presence with distinctive values of quality, safety and environmental friendliness. To make them stand out and give an original experience to the public, Volvo wanted to surprise and entertain visitors. Objective: to capture the attention of the crowd and communicate effectively.
Arneis helped Volvo with Beatrice, its alluring Hostess Robot with-wheels-not- heels; a solution out of the ordinary, technological and effective way to:
- Attract and intrigue the audience with his constant movement through the exhibition of Volvo cars
- Give visitors a unique and unexpected welcome
- Lead Volvo guests through the stand, to let them discover the cars on display
Beatrice interaction, through movement and dialogue, with people is completely adaptable upon the needs of our clients. Volvo briefed us on how to adapt Beatrice performance to their corporate identity and tone of voice.
Beatrice eventually made hundreds of thousands of visitors turn their heads, luring them to the Volvo stand. Where she welcomed them to let them discover the whole showroom. And it helped Volvo capture attention of the media, as Volvo showroom was given large space in prime time news report, when journalists too were intrigued by the bright and flirty hostess without heels.
